Today’s guest on the ValueTheMarkets podcast is James Campbell, non-executive director at Shefa Gems (LSE:SEFA). Shefa is a precious stone explorer with assets across four permit areas in Israel. The firm has just renewed its prospecting license and plans to start trial mining next year. Shefa is developing a mine to market strategy, and earlier this year launched a range of jewellery designed by Yossi Harari.

This morning, the firm released its interim results for the six month period to June 2019. In the interview, James discusses the progress Shefa has made in the period and explains the company’s strategy to generate revenue from the most profitable ends of the gemstone business chain; the mining and the sale of the end product.

Listeners are advised to do their own extensive research before buying shares which, as with all small-cap exploration stocks, should be viewed as high risk. Investors should also seek the advice of a qualified investment adviser or stockbroker as they deem appropriate.
