Cardano (ADA) is starting the week by pushing higher, while most other major digital currencies have seen their prices fall back.

Trending Cryptos

Major cryptos were broadly lower on Monday, though Cardano (ADA) has bucked the trend to storm higher. The jump in the cryptocurrency’s price appears to have coincided with rising prices of virtual land within Parvia, a metaverse game built on the Cardano network.

Here are some of today’s other crypto stories:

  • Cut price mining machines have flooded the market in Kosovo after the Eastern European nation announced plans to limit crypto mining in order to alleviate pressure on its energy grid.

  • Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) has started accepting payments for merchandise in Dogecoin (DOGE), leading the memecoin to rise.

  • Singapore has moved to ban crypto businesses from advertising in public spaces, though they are still permitted to advertise online.
