Gold explorer Tempus Resources Ltd continues its flagship drill campaign with resounding success.

Check out this pure-play gold stock as demand for gold investments soars!

TEMPUS RESOURCES ASX:TMR | TSXV:TMRR | OTCQB:TMRFF

Pure play gold explorer Tempus Resources Ltd (ASX: TMR, TSX.V: TMRR, OTC: TMRFF) continues its flagship drill campaign with resounding success. And as a potential investment, Tempus displays many compelling reasons for investors to jump on board.

Glittering veins reveal hidden potential

Having kicked off on June 5, Tempus is undertaking an intense drilling operation at its Elizabeth Gold Project. Since then, Tempus has completed diamond drilling at eight holes covering approximately 1,800 meters.

The search for gold is always an exciting one, but the journey becomes exhilarating when catching a glimpse of visible gold.

That’s why Tempus Resources is thrilled to announce its latest progress report.

And it comes hot on the heels of an encouraging run of results.

The company drilled 11 holes at Elizabeth late last year, many of which returned multiple ounce intersections.

Then, earlier this year, Tempus intersected five meters of high-grade gold at 61.3g/t from a 116.5m stretch.

This included 1.5m of top-quality grade 186.0g/t gold from a 118m stretch.

Its latest campaign focuses on the northern extension of the Southwest vein, approximately 150m along strike.

Here the team is excited for the chance to expand its rich North Extension Shoot.

Each of the five initial holes intersects this great vein, with visible gold demonstrating a promising outcome.

In fact, here at Elizabeth, Tempus Resources’ high-grade quartz veins show fundamentally close geological parallels to the world-renowned Bralorne structure. They’re also close to the Bralorne gold camp.

The Bralorne mesothermal vein system has been described as the ‘Crown Jewel’ of Canadian mining, where it has historically produced over four million ounces of gold.

Tempus President & CEO Jason Bahnsen remarked:

“THE 2021 DRILL CAMPAIGN IS OFF TO A GREAT START WITH THE PRESENCE OF VISIBLE GOLD IN THE FIRST FEW HOLES. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE HIGH-GRADE RESULTS AS WE CONTINUE TO DEMONSTRATE THE EXTENSIONS TO THE KNOWN VEIN SYSTEMS AT ELIZABETH.”

Elizabeth sits on the West Coast of Canada in Southern British Columbia. And here, at Drill hole EZ-21-04, Tempus has intersected a broad zone of quartz veining, with visible gold evident over a quarter of it.

Meanwhile, even more visible gold has been identified in diamond drill hole EZ-21-02.

The company intends to continue this campaign day and night, exploring around 100m a day to ultimately drill around 50 holes. This will unveil the true and extensive potential of Tempus’ flagship resource.

All-in-all, the Tempus team is anticipating exciting results when the assays return from the lab in the coming weeks.

Gold holds its value

Precious, priceless, and magnificent all accurately describe the timeless allure of gold.

As a store of value, it withstands the test of time and continues to attract investments.

Right now, there’s an investing gold rush happening, and institutions want a piece of the action.

According to the World Gold Council, 47% of gold demand in 2020 came from the investment community.

This is partly due to a surge in demand for gold ETFs.

The Covid-19 pandemic created global economic chaos, which saw investors turn to gold ETFs as a safe haven to escape financial disaster.

The remaining demand came from jewelry, technology, and central banks storing reserves.

Our world is advancing rapidly, and the global lockdown has accelerated a technological shift. This raises demand for electronics, many of which use gold as a critical element.

This has led to rising demand for gold stocks, which prove a popular option over gold bullion. That’s because their operating leverage affords them wider profit margins and a chance for higher returns.

Meanwhile, the fear of inflation is also driving the popularity of gold stocks.

Investors are divided on whether we’re heading for an inflationary environment.

But with signs of inflation in pockets of society, extensive quantitative easing, and low interest rates, there’s reason to believe we are.

Historically, gold has always performed well during inflationary periods. Therefore, gold stocks make a sensible addition to a well-balanced investment portfolio.

Gold bulls might like to add Tempus to their portfolios while this promising stock remains cheap.

An abundance of gold may lie hidden in these vast Ecuadorian zones.

The Elizabeth Gold Project is not the only exciting development Tempus has going on. In Southeast Ecuador, the company operates two more promising projects under its Zamora banner.

The Rio Zarza and the Valle de Tigre projects are also in a lucrative gold-producing neighborhood.

They’re both smack bang in the heart of a gold and copper porphyry trend.

The Rio Zarza is next door to Lundin Gold’s (TSE: LUG) highly rewarding Fruta del Norte project.

Meanwhile, the company sees clear signs of both copper and gold deposits at its Valle del Tigre project. It has already completed the geophysical assessment, and geochemical sampling is underway.

In Q1 2021, Tempus completed a Phase 1 geochemical sampling survey at Valle del Tigre. This study confirmed the geophysical targets it was hoping for. Consequently, suggesting a more extensive mineralized system with north-south and northeast-southwest trends.

That’s encouraging for potential investors because those trends fall on the historically lucrative territory.

Both projects cover a massive expanse. Rio Zarza covers 10,000 hectares in area, while Valle de Tigre is close to 20,000 hectares.

Better still, Ecuador is a mining-friendly jurisdiction, with presidential encouragement for foreign investment and mining leadership.

Cultural Conservation

Nowadays, meeting environmental and cultural obligations is paramount to success. And Tempus Resources wholeheartedly agrees.

To ensure the protection of its vast resources, Tempus created its Joint Environmental and Cultural Stewardship Program.

It is imperative to the company that it works closely with indigenous groups.

The Bridge River Indian Band (Xwisten) is a First Nations government representing the St’at’imc people (aka the Lillooet people).

Around half the Elizabeth Gold workforce are members of the Xwisten Community, and Tempus is working closely with them. The company is providing an opportunity for Xwisten people to contribute to business and employment opportunities.

Every month, Tempus carries out water sampling and ground disturbance monitoring under the supervision of its Xwisten Community members. They’re all certified and have completed training for environmental and cultural monitoring.

Leading with excellence

Additionally, Tempus Resources’ board of directors and management team both display excellent qualities and extensive experience.

Their knowledge and familiarity with mining and the capital markets span many decades. Plus, they are very well connected to tap the best minds in the industry.

President & CEO Jason Bahnsen is a mining engineer with over 30 years experience in natural resources finance and operations.

CFO Melanie Ross has over 20 years experience in the industry. While VP, Kevin Piepgrass, is a professional geologist with widespread involvement in the mineral exploration and development industry.

On the Board, Non-Executive Chairman Alexander Molyneux is a mining executive with over two decades of industry experience.

He also serves on the boards of several public company peers, including Galena Mining Ltd (ASX: G1A), Argosy Minerals Ltd (ASX: AGY); Metalla Royalty & Streaming Ltd (TSX-V: MTA); and Azarga Metals Corp (TSX-V: AZR).

Alongside Molyneux is Gary Artmont, a senior exploration geologist with over 40 years of international experience.

Tony Cina also has extensive experience in the mining industry. And Jonathan Shellabear, too, has over 30 years experience in the mining and financial services industries.

Strong institutional support

The company has had no trouble attracting significant investment in the business. Last year the company raised an impressive A$7.8 million.

Then in May, the company closed a A$1.9 million private placement strongly supported by institutional and sophisticated investors.

Investing in junior explorers can be exponentially rewarding when investing at the optimal point.

This lands somewhere between exploration and initial discovery through to a feasibility study and is often the period of most incredible value creation for investors.

In the main, Tempus is a pure-play gold explorer. But it also has the added advantage of being fully permitted with the infrastructure and tailings facility at Blackdome.

Therefore, when the time comes, Tempus could fast-track the production phase, giving it an edge over its exploration rivals.

Diversification is key to strategic investing

After eighteen months of uncertainty in the world, investors remain nervous, but a diversified approach is a great way to protect long-term investments and reduce risk.

Gold is a popular asset both in economic bull and bear markets. It’s a hedge against inflation when stock markets are heading south.

But gold stocks have also been performing well against bullion when stock markets are heading north.

This is because gold stocks often appreciate at a greater rate of return than straight-out gold.

Leveraging the value of the yellow metal boosts the attraction of the mining stocks with their improved profit margins.

This is why gold stocks make a great addition to a portfolio.

Tempus Resources may well be worth considering. It’s currently trading at a discount to its previous highs.
