Golden Sun Education Group Ltd (NASDAQ: GSUN)

Golden Sun Education Group Ltd (NASDAQ: GSUN) rose 92% on Friday.

There did not appear to be any triggering GSUN news, but the stock has been highly volatile since debuting on the NASDAQ at IPO in June. 

Today, GSUN stock is down 24% in pre-market trading.

According to Bloomberg, Golden Sun Education Group Limited provides education services. The company offers middle and elementary schooling, e-learning, college counseling, and library services. Golden Sun Education Group serves students in China.

Golden Sun Education Group Ltd has a market cap of $955.19m, and its trailing earnings per share (EPS ttm) is 0.05.

GSUN stock has an astronomical P/E of 1057.80, and it doesn’t offer a shareholder dividend. 

Sales have fallen by -36.00% Q/Q, and EPS has dropped by -77.2%. 

Over the past year, Golden Sun Education Group Ltd (GSUN) has traded between $13.41 and $95. Today GSUN stock changes hands at around $40 per share.

Athersys Inc (NASDAQ: ATHX) stock is down 12% in early-market trading after soaring on Friday. The reason for Friday’s jump was an amendment to a previously closed stock and warrants offering. This provides ATHX with additional financial flexibility.

Meanwhile, a recent reverse split helped ATHX stock regain compliance with Nasdaq listing rules to maintain a minimum bid price.

According to Bloomberg, Athersys, Inc. operates as a biotechnology company. The company develops allogeneic stem cell products that treat inflammatory and immune disorders, neurological conditions, cardiovascular disease, and other conditions. Athersys serves patients worldwide.

Athersys Inc’s market cap is 15m, EPS is negative, and it doesn’t offer a dividend.

Snow Lake Resources Ltd (NASDAQ: LITM)

Snow Lake Resources Ltd (NASDAQ: LITM) stock is down 16% in pre-market trading after climbing over 30% on Friday.

The company issued a press release stating Snow Lake Lithium and LG Energy Solution signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a domestic lithium supply chain for the North American electric vehicle market:

  • Partnership to deliver lithium hydroxide to LG Energy Solution.

  • Domestically sourced lithium is essential to secure the future of the North American automobile industry.

According to Bloomberg, Snow Lake Resources Ltd operates as a mineral company. The company specializes in the acquisition, exploration, and development of lithium projects. Snow Lake Resources serves customers in Canada and Australia.
