  • Fastly (NYSE: FSLY) is down nearly 30% in pre-market trading. Its Q4 earnings beat on revenue and adjusted loss per share but disappointed on future outlook.

  • Despite a positive earnings report, Amplitude (NASDAQ: AMPL) is plummeting over 40% in pre-market trading.

  • Fiverr (NYSE: FVRR) is trending on positive Q4 guidance.

  • DoorDash (NYSE: DASH) beat revenue and gross merchandise value (GMV) guidance but missed adjusted EBITDA. DASH Stock is up 15%

  • Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN) stock is trending. On 16 Feb '22, Groupon closed at $26.28, -58.2% off its 52 week high vs. the subsector average change of -27.4%. The company is the target of a high-impact activist campaign initiated by Pale Fire Capital SE. The objective of the campaign is: Maximize Shareholder Value.

  • Roblox (NASDAQ: RBLX) stock fell 26.5% yesterday after Q4 earnings. Revenues were ok, but free cash flow missed. Daily active users (DAUs) and hours engaged light; analysts cautious on January bookings deceleration (tough compares, international mix shift) and management commentary that bookings may not improve until the May-June timeframe. RBLX stock is down 1% pre-market.

  • Upstart Holdings (NASDAQ: UPST) soared 35.7% yesterday on a big Q4 earnings and revenue beat. UPST stock is rising 5% in pre-market trading today. The company highlighted strong loan transactions driven by higher applicants and conversions; Q1 and FY guidance well ahead of consensus; announced $400m stock buyback; analysts are positive on auto financing trends, share gains, and new-product momentum.           

  • Palantir (NYSE: PLTR) fell 1.4% yesterday but is already down 8.8% pre-market on weak earnings.

  • Investors are discussing Plug Power Inc (NASDAQ: PLUG) on Thursday after the company’s stock inched up by 0.55% during Wednesday's session. Over the past year, Plug Power Inc (PLUG) has traded between $17.51 and $58.8. Today it trades at $23.90.

  • Generac Holdings (NYSE: GNRC) stock soared 14.4% yesterday on Q4 earnings and revenue beat. The company highlighted ongoing demand and strong growth in residential; noted continued supply chain and inflationary challenges but saw offset from pricing actions; FY22 net sales growth guidance ahead of the Street.

  • Airbnb (NASDAQ: ABNB) stock climbed 3.7% yesterday after an upbeat earnings release. Q4 bookings beat by 2% while EBITDA came in more than 20% above; Q1 guidance also better with nights booked expected to significantly exceed comparable 2019 levels; Street positive on summer bookings (+25% vs. 2019) continued ADR strength, an uptick in new listings, share gains in longer trips, good cost control.

  • Walt Disney Co (NYSE: DIS) to develop residential communities with condominiums and houses. Will this be Stepford Wives meets Airbnb or Disney Parks on a more intimate scale? Called "Storyliving," the first of several neighborhoods are expected to be built in California.

  • Shopify (NYSE: SHOP) stock dropped 16% on Wednesday as Q4 earnings per share and revenues beat but operating income missed and subscription segment missed; gross profit also missed on Merchant downside; GMV ahead but monthly recurring revenue light; analysts cautious on some metrics including MRR, GM, ramp of spend to attract new customers.

  • BioNTech (NASDAQ: BNTX) unveils its mobile COVID-19 vaccine factories for developing countries.

  • Crescent Energy (NYSE: CRGY) is to buy 145k acres of oil and gas-producing assets from Verdun Oil for $815m. 

  • Activist Investor Dan Loeb of Third Point sees around a Trillion dollars worth of untapped value in Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN).
