SOS, PDD, NIO, WWR, BLBX: Trending Stocks Today 1 April

Trending stocks on Friday include SOS (NYSE: SOS), Pinduoduo (NASDAQ: PDD), NIO (NYSE: NIO), Westwater Resources (WWR), and Blackboxstocks (BLBX).

SOS, PDD, NIO, WWR, BLBX: Trending Stocks Today 1 April

S&P futures are up 0.5% in Friday morning trading. This comes after the major US exchanges were all lower on Thursday, ending near their worst levels in an afternoon slide. 

Oil up, gold down and Bitcoin (BTC) down.

Here are some of today's trending stocks:

SOS Ltd (NYSE: SOS)

Chinese marketing tech company SOS Ltd (NYSE: SOS) fell 27% yesterday but is up 6% today in pre-market trading. SOS stock dropped after initiating a $20m direct offering of its shares. It needs the funds to develop its North American business along with working capital and general corporate use.

Chinese stocks are also experiencing persistent volatility as the risk of them being kicked off American exchanges drags on. The SEC added Baidu (NASDAQ: BIDU) to a list of Chinese firms that may be removed unless audit disclosure improves.

Over the past year, SOS Ltd - ADR (SOS) has traded between $0.45 and $6.17. Today SOS stock trades around $0.56.

Meanwhile, BIDU stock is up over 8% in pre-market trading after ending yesterday's session down 8%.

Pinduoduo Inc (NASDAQ: PDD)

Pinduoduo Inc (NASDAQ: PDD) is another Chinese stock trending today. It's up 13% in pre-market after falling 8% yesterday. 

Pinduoduo is China's largest agriculture-focused tech platform. PDD stock enjoyed a phenomenal rise in 2020 but has since declined. Its recent Q4 earnings beat expectations on EPS but revenue disappointed.

During the past twelve months, Pinduoduo Inc - ADR (PDD) has traded between $23.21 and $152.06.

Over the past year, PDD stock is down by -72.13%, while the S&P 500 is 12.7% over the same period. 

NIO Inc (NYSE: NIO)

EV company NIO (NYSE: NIO) is up 6% in pre-market trading. A delivery update has reassured investors and once again raised interest in the stock.

NIO delivered 9,985 vehicles in March 2022, increasing by 37.6% year-over-year. It delivered 25,768 vehicles in the three months ended March 2022, rising by 28.5% year-over-year. And cumulative deliveries of vehicles as of March 31, 2022, reached 192,838.

NIO EVs include the EP9 supercar and ES8 7-seater SUV. It provides users with home charging, power express valet services, and other power solutions, including access to public charging, access to power mobile charging trucks, and battery swapping.

Westwater Resources Inc (NYSEAMERICAN: WWR)

Westwater Resources Inc (NYSEAMERICAN: WWR) is a graphite explorer. Its battery-materials projects include the Coosa Graphite and its associated Coosa Graphite Deposits located in east-central Alabama.

Investors are discussing Westwater Resources Inc (WWR) on Friday, after the company's stock climbed by 4.17% during Thursday's session to settle at $2. It is up a further 3.5% in pre-market trading.

Blackboxstocks Inc (NASDAQ: BLBX)

Blackboxstocks Inc (NASDAQ: BLBX) is a fintech and social media platform. It offers real-time proprietary analytics and news for stock and options traders. The company was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas.

Shares of Blackboxstocks Inc (BLBX) rose by 12.13% yesterday continuing its positive momentum with the price up by 63.41% over the past year.

And BLBX stock is up a further 35% in pre-market trading thanks to positive Q4 and fiscal year 2021 trading results.
