B2C2 appoints Jason Lai as Senior Advisor in Singapore to strengthen ties with family offices and institutional funds in Asia.

#How is B2C2 Strengthening Its Presence in Asia?

B2C2, a leading digital asset liquidity provider predominantly owned by Japan's SBI Holdings, has taken a significant step by appointing Jason Lai as Senior Advisor in Singapore. This strategic move aims to enhance the company's relationships with family offices and institutional funds throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

B2C2's expansion into Asia is underscored by its opening of a Singapore office in 2024, as well as its efforts to secure a Major Payment Institution license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The focus on Asia is timely; the region's blockchain transaction volumes surged by 69% year-over-year through June 2025, according to OECD data. Additionally, Goldman Sachs reports that approximately one-third of family offices worldwide now maintain cryptocurrency assets, with private wealth assets in the Asia-Pacific projected to reach an astounding $99 trillion by 2029.

#What Financial Growth Did B2C2 Experience?

B2C2's financial momentum is impressive. For the fiscal year ending March 2024, the company reported revenue of JPY 57.14 billion, marking an extraordinary 88.5% increase from the previous year. The pre-tax profit was reported at JPY 8.4 billion, highlighting the effectiveness of its business-to-business model.

This model positions B2C2 as a vital liquidity provider, facilitating the execution of large orders for exchanges, brokerages, and institutional trading desks, while remaining exclusive to business clients without direct interactions with retail traders. This approach has proven successful since SBI Holdings acquired a controlling stake in the company in 2020.

#Who Leads the Singapore Operation?

B2C2's Singapore office, which is a pivotal hub for its Asia strategy, is led by APAC CEO David Rogers, with Laura Teo serving as the Country Head. Under their leadership, the Singapore office is poised to capitalize on the growing appetite for digital assets in the region.
