Kroupi, born on June 23, 2006, in Lorient, France, joined Bournemouth for about £12 million earlier this year. His value has skyrocketed since then, with the club now citing a valuation that is over eight times his original transfer fee. In the current 2025/26 season, Kroupi has scored between 12 and 13 goals in just 33 matches, demonstrating remarkable talent for a teenager entering his first full season in English football.
He is a versatile striker able to play multiple positions, which aligns perfectly with what Barcelona needs as they look for a future successor to Robert Lewandowski, who is nearing the end of his career.
