#What Does the Pasteur Hardfork Change?

The first of these is BEP-682, which addresses a vulnerability in CometBFT light client validation. Previously, there was a potential risk of duplicate validators going undetected during cross-chain bridge interactions. The transition from v1.7.6 on the testnet to v1.7.7 on the mainnet indicates that refinements were made based on that testnet deployment.
