Moonbirds will launch its BIRB token in early Q1 2026, expanding its NFT ecosystem and diversifying into physical collectibles.

Moonbirds has announced the upcoming launch of its native BIRB token on the Solana blockchain, expected in early Q1 of 2026. This initiative marks a significant step towards expanding its NFT ecosystem and aligns with Orange Cap Games' strategy to develop its portfolio in the collectible space.

As the parent company of Moonbirds, Orange Cap Games has a bold vision to position itself within the web3 market, aiming for multimillion-dollar revenues comparable to established companies like Pop Mart. The leadership of Orange Cap Games has indicated that they are not just focused on the virtual realm but are actively diversifying into physical collectibles and trading card games, broadening the scope of their NFT intellectual property.

In the context of the broader collectible market, the progress made by Orange Cap Games is noteworthy. Since its acquisition of the Moonbirds IP in May, the company has indicated strong revenue growth, expecting to generate around $20 million in the coming year based on existing partnerships. Their flagship product, Vibes, a trading card game featuring Pudgy Penguins, has already achieved revenues near $6 million in its first year.

Moreover, the collaboration with traditional collectible distributors such as GTS and Star City Games, along with partnerships in the grading domain with entities like CGC and PSA, strengthens the operational foundation of Orange Cap Games. This cross-industry synergy positions the company well to capitalize on both digital and physical collectibles, creating a more integrated consumer experience.
