What is the structure of the tournament? The Stake Pulse Beat I involves 16 participating teams engaging in competitive matches organized in a GSL group format, where teams will compete in best-of-three matches leading to the knockout-stage playoffs. Every match will be streamed live from the Black Molly Entertainment studio.
First place will earn $20,000, while the second place will receive $8,000. The third and fourth placements each take home $6,000, and teams ranked fifth through eighth will receive $4,000. Additionally, the ninth to twelfth place will each be granted $1,000 to acknowledge their participation.
How can teams participate? Registration commenced on June 18. Out of the 16 spots available, 14 were filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Each team is required to pay a $2,000 entry fee, which covers expenses related to accommodations and practice facilities. The last two slots will be filled through online qualifiers occurring from June 30 to July 1.
To ensure fair play during the tournament, ESPLAY will oversee server management and refereeing, while ESPORTSTUDION will handle the Swedish broadcast production.
