This significant market share originates from a single issuer built on the Solana blockchain, developed by Backed Finance. The platform's total value locked in tokenized stock lending reaches $23.1 million, with an impressive 86.5% market dominance.
Since its inception in late June 2025, xStocks has successfully issued SPL tokens on Solana, with each token backed on a 1:1 basis by US equities or ETFs that are securely held by regulated custodians. The platform has broadened its catalog to encompass more than 700 financial assets. By mid-2026, it reported transaction volumes exceeding $35 billion across both centralized and decentralized exchanges, with over $20 billion derived from this combined activity.
As of February 2026, seven out of the top ten tokenized stocks in terms of trading volume were created by xStocks. Moreover, the on-chain holdings connected to xStocks reached approximately $225 million at the beginning of 2026.
