Early investors are keeping a close eye on Cyon Exploration’s Black Rock Canyon property. Many of the majors are pouring money into this region as well, which suggests even more upside for Cyon.

CYON EXPLORATION (TSXV:CYON | OTC:CYNXF)

It’d be easy for some to overlook the “invisible gold” in Nevada’s booming Cortez Trend.

But with an estimated 50 million ounces of gold hidden below the surface, it’s quickly become one of the world’s richest gold regions.

The gold in these Carlin-type deposits often only measures out to about 1 micron in size – about 1/70th the size of a human hair.

And because anything less than 40 microns is invisible to the naked eye…

Much of the gold in the region is impossible to detect except with proper sampling.

But the “invisible gold” in these make up some of the largest hydrothermal gold deposits in the world.

Which is why early investors are keeping a close eye on Cyon Exploration’s Black Rock Canyon property.

Many of the majors are pouring money into this region as well, which suggests even more upside for Cyon.

In 2018, mining companies spent an estimated $460 million on exploration alone in Nevada.

And that’s before spending a single dime on development or production.

Plus, between the rich geology and the government support for the mining industry…

Fraser Institute has named Nevada one of the top mining regions in the world.

That’s what had two of the biggest mining companies – both worth around $50 billion apiece in market cap – joining forces to drill this gold-rich region.

Barrick and Newmont Goldcorp teamed up to mine the Nevada Gold Mines, now the largest gold-producing complex in the world.

But after producing more than 45 million ounces of gold on the properties, the real upside could come from the juniors nearby like Cyon Exploration.

Cyon’s Black Rock Canyon property sits just 10 miles from Barrick’s massive discovery.

And the gold-rich deposits seem to head straight towards them.

Cyon’s property spans an enormous 3,894 acres with over 100 total claims.

And the results from 185 previous surface samples are nothing short of amazing.

Gold grades have ranged from 2.02 g/t Au to 109.7 g/t Au at their highs.

But while it’s still early in the game now, they’re racing ahead to complete exploration and drilling

And they’re expected to make big news over the next couple of months.

They’ve recently signed on to work with the geologist who finished the deep-dive analysis of the property at Barrick next door.

That means the team has a running head start as they’ll already be familiar with the geology in the area.

The location of Cyon’s property alone is enough to have investors paying attention.

But the upside looks even greater for this junior thanks to the incredible team of experts at the helm.

Experience in Gold Country

CYON EXPLORATION (TSXV:CYON | OTC:CYNXF)

Cyon has stacked their management team with experts with decades of experience.

President and CEO, Byron Coulthard, has led 7 public companies over his 30-year career.

Now, after raising over $100 million for other public companies, he’s bringing his experience and business savvy to Cyon.

Plus, Trumbull Fisher is another seasoned expert with over 15 years experience in the markets.

He’s led both private and public companies as Chairman, President, Board Member, and Advisor.

And he co-founded a hedge fund before it was acquired by Toronto-based Forge First Asset Management.

With Fisher’s connections and Coulthard’s track record, Cyon is in excellent hands.

They’re already fully-funded for their exploration program in Nevada, and they’re ready to plow full steam ahead.

Their exploration geologist, Nicholas Barr, has 35 years of experience exploring gold-silver deposits.

He’ll lead the team on everything from target generation… to surface mapping… to sampling and drilling.

And having worked with both majors and juniors, he brings years of experience exploring Nevada’s gold-rich grounds.

Plus, they’ve brought on two other world-class geologists to consult at Black Rock.

Dr. Steven Weiss has been in the business for over 40 years, leading Glamis Gold’s exploration team in Mexico.

While leading their project at El Sauzal, their team produced over 1.7 million ounces of gold.

He stayed on board for Goldcorp in Mexico after they acquired Glamis Gold, and he built and led the team at the Camino Rojo gold-silver deposit.

This proved up an initial 1.6 million ounces of gold in reserves, and it more than doubled their gold resource from 3.4 million ounces to 7.5 million ounces.

With multiple million-ounce discoveries under his belt, Cyon will look to him to help guide their exploration at Black Rock.

Finally, they’re bringing in Tom Callicrate, another seasoned vet who’s spent 35 years as an exploration geologist.

And while he’s done work in Alaska, Honduras, and Venezuela as well, his main focus has been near Cyon’s project in Nevada.

He started his career with several majors like Freeport Exploration and FMC.

But after building a strong base of experience and field exploration skills, he broke out on his own.

He became co-founder and has held senior corporate roles with startup juniors like Western Goldfield.

There, he was instrumental in their 4 million+ ounce gold deposit discovery on their Mesquite property.

This later returned major gains when New Gold Inc. acquired the company.

With decades of experience on major discoveries around Nevada, now he’s joining up to consult with Cyon as well.

Given Cyon’s talented team, there’s plenty of reason to keep an eye on this property in the middle of gold country.

But after bringing in two more world-class consultants, the pace is picking up as they race to drill by the end of the year.

Major Discovery by Year’s End?

CYON EXPLORATION (TSXV:CYON | OTC:CYNXF)

With this experienced team of experts at the helm, they’re eager to get started at Black Rock.

They’ve already raised $2 million in September, all during a time where gold was starting to cool down from near all-time highs.

The shares are tightly held for Cyon, but they’ve got some savvy folks behind them that have already scooped up shares.

And now, with Cyon’s fundraising boom in September, they’ll have all the funds needed to cover the costs of their drill program there in Nevada.

Their geologists have already taken a look at initial data and are thrilled with what they’re seeing so far.

Next up, they plan to start with an airborne magnetometry survey to discover just how deep these deposits could run.

Because they’re already seeing plenty of similarities to Barrick’s world-class mine down the road…

They’re going deep from the start.

So after surveying the property, they’re planning to set 3 drill hole locations at depths down from 8,000 feet to 11,0000 feet.

Black Rock’s expected to show the low grade, high tonnage, deep deposits that mining companies around the world are trying to replicate…

The same “Barrick-style” deposits yielding millions of ounces of gold just down the road.

Cyon’s already taken out much of the work and can get started ahead of schedule.

They have loads of data from their neighbors with majors like Newmont and Barrick.

And they’ll also have plenty of historical data they can cross-check with the new airborne magnetometry data coming soon.

Since they already have enough data to know what they have to do, it’ll save them plenty of time costs – making the project’s upside even more profitable.

The team at Cyon is now talking with the state to get the drill permits.

They’re getting quotes to start drilling as soon as they can.

And with their mines sitting right in the center of a group of majors…

They could become a prime target for acquisition the second they strike any kind of success on the property.

They’re shooting to break ground in December, and this story is unfolding quickly.

Cyon’s in a very promising position as they push forward towards their drill program.

Being right on trend with some of the biggest majors in the world, there’s already many keeping a close eye on the Black Rock Canyon project.

And if they see even a sliver of the success Barrick has had nearby, they could be sitting on millions of ounces of this micron-size “invisible gold.”
